  lovely place, shame about the aircon and views that spoilt it

  Liked: lovely building, location was just the right distance, nice apartment, good facilities.

  Disliked: advertised with views over lake and hills, did not mention this was only from the bathroom and bedroom, lounge had views over a large building site that started early morning, air conditioning unit in lounge needed servicing as it leaked over the tv and electric sockets located underneath. no cleaning / washing up cloths, minimal welcome pack

  Comfortable and hospitable!

  Liked: Location was a 10 minute walk from the centre of Baverno. Few restaurants and amenities. Easy from there to get the ferry to the Borromean Islands. Well equipped kitchen.

  An ideal place to experience Lake Maggiore

  Liked: The flat in the castle is charming, comfortable and very well designed. Silvano gave us a perfect welcome. He even went out of his way to pick us up from the station! Baveno is very close to Stresa – just as charming, but quieter. The town is very well connected by the Lake Maggiore ferry services.
