Exceptional
Fantastic, superior, well decorated apartment with unbeatable location
Liked: The location was 10/10. In the middle of the Historic Centre, 3 min walk to the ferries, 3 min walk to the bus stop and 10 min walk to the train station. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a separate utilities room. The Carrefour was opposite the apartment which was extremely convenient for home cooking and the Conad was only an 8 minute walk away. There were also 3 balconies with amazing views. The host was lovely, even giving us a present of the local sweets on departure as well as letting us check in earlier and check out later than mentioned on the website. This was truly a quality booking!

A perfect apartment for an enjoyable stay in Stresa
Liked: The property is perfectly located in central Stresa, minutes from the restaurants and waterfront. The spacious apartment is nicely furnished and is supplied with all you need for a comfortable stay. Our host Patrizia was fantastic, providing recommendations for local attractions and restaurants and ensuring we enjoyed our stay.
Disliked: As with many apartments, noise can travel if you have noisy neighbours in the apartment above. We only noticed it a couple of times.
Central & comfortable apartment in Stresa
Liked: Family Apartment is in a perfect position, a few minutes walk from the lake shore and opposite a small supermarket. There is a lift which takes you up to the apartment on the third floor; it's furnished in a modern stylish way and has lots of room to store clothes and a large comfortable bed. We found the washing machine useful and appreciated the washing capsules that had been left for us. We had daily communication with Patrizia, even though we never met face to face. On our leaving day when there was a problem with our train Patrizia was very kind in suggesting some other options for our onward journey.
Disliked: The aircon unit in the bedroom was very efficient so it was always cool for sleeping; but the other aircon unit for the living room, kitchen and bathroom seemed to struggle to cope with the May heatwave.
