Exceptional
Luxury stay in Baveno
Liked: Everything. Excellent customer service. Superb beds and bed linen, towels etc. Stylish decor. Excellent location 5 minutes walk from ferry, bus and train plus numerous restaurants. Everyone at Al Campanile was helpful, professional and made our stay so enjoyable. Quiet location with so many wonderful places to visit a ferry ride away
Disliked: Nothing
Liked: A new hotel at a great location. Everything is just around the corner: coffee, grocery store, restaurants and the beach
Liked: Comfortable rooms, beautiful views, and kind staff!
A great base for a trip to Baveno
Liked: Conveniently located Clean Comfortable Friendly staff
Disliked: Odd situation where part of the room was locked, so no kitchen access.
Liked: Location Customer service Apartment size
Disliked: Body wash bottle in the shower was filled with water, I had to go to the reception and ask for soap There was very little to eat for breakfast Apartment cleanliness was OK
Worth it for the views and the staff alone
Liked: Location was excellent and hotel was spacious, clean and well maintained. Staff were absolutely excellent - attentive, professional and responsive. Breakfast was tasty with good pastries and cakes. Free parking behind the hotel but we were given a discount to stay in the garages inside as usually E25 a day.
Disliked: Nothing we didn’t like but the hotel itself was more basic than luxurious. Breakfast room could have been better arranged and so there was an unnecessary queue by the door / coffee area for example. Final picky point - there was a line of dust on the tv and a plastic tag on the windowsill. Otherwise it was all spotless. We would stay again but it was on the pricier side for what it was (although outstanding location in August).
