  Enjoyable; relaxing. We like to stay every year

  Liked: Convenient location with garage parking; spacious well-appointed room with well-equipped bathroom and air conditioning. Generous buffet breakfast, served by lovely attentive staff.

  Disliked: Nothing really. It is a well-appointed hotel with modern facilities, housed in a traditional style building.

  A good 3 star hotel nicely situated in the centre of Baveno giving good value for the money

  Liked: The location is excellent, close to the city centre, water front and ferry port. All within 5 minutes walk. The hotel has 2 private parkings (open and closed ones), a rarity in Italian cities. The room was OK, functional and comfortable though with a bit of outdated furnishing. Same is true for the bathroom. Everything was very clean and the staff was very kind and ready to help. Also there was a little balcony and even though the view was just the surrounding buildings with a hint of mountain in the background it was pleasant to start the day sitting there.

  Disliked: The dinning room was a bit dark and gloomy and the automatic coffee machines way past their best time and the drinks dispensed were not to the level of Italian coffee tradition. However cappuccino and espresso were served at the bar/reception, prepared with professional Italian bar machines and with excellent results. The choice of continental breakfast was limited with food quality that could be improved, including the bread rolls which were anything but crispy. Pity since Italy has a great food tradition. Luckily the outdoor sitting area near the pool provided the nice setting for breakfast. I didn't appreciate the fact that on the 2nd day of our stay the person serving espresso tried to charge me 1€ for the espresso which was included in the breakfast and also served free on the first day. After noticing that other clients were not charged I asked and was explained that I was mistakenly taken for the member of a group which was not entitled to free espresso. Hard to accept, me being the only person there at that moment.

  A lovely, family-friendly stay in a great location with friendly and helpful staff

  Liked: The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a great location close to the lake and the centre of Baveno. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel for a couple of hours after checkout at no extra charge, which we really appreciated. The pool was also a great addition, especially when travelling with children.

  Disliked: Nothing significant to complain about. We had a very pleasant stay

Please note that late check-in after 23:30 costs EUR 20 for each hour of delay.

If using a GPS device, please note Via Zanone is a pedestrian street, closed to traffic. Please take Via Monte Grappa or Via Margheritis to reach Via Domo 6.

If you wish to bring a pet with you, this must be specified when booking.

Please note that the indoor garage with video surveillance is on request and will be charged EUR 10 per day.

A private outdoor garage is also available without reservation and will be charged EUR 5 per day.

A public parking is available 656 feet from the property for free and with no reservation.
