Fabulous
Fabulous stay!!
Liked: Beautiful property in a great location! Wonderful breakfast and customer service! Special thank you to the wonderful Lucia at the front desk, who went out of her way to help us in getting a taxi to the train station. She is very kind and caring, and a real asset to the hotel staff!
Disliked: We are an older couple, and the walk from the train station was a little longer than we thought, and the final uphill climb to the hotel a little more difficult than we thought.
A nice comfortable place to stay
Liked: Nice location and close to the centre but not so close that there was any town noise. Breakfast room was lovely. Old fashioned and nice.
Disliked: The bedrooms were comfortable but quite basic.
I would stay here again!!
Liked: Love the location (easy walking to main parts of the town), exceptional staff who were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, delicious breakfasts in a beautiful breakfast room, easy interior access with an elevator and wide stairways and a lovely exterior with beautiful greenery and comfortable seating areas!

Traditional family run hotel. Would stay here again if we ever return

Great place to rest on a trip to Stresa and Lago Maggiore
Liked: The location in Stresa was perfect. The property has parking, if you reserve a spot, and you can walk a couple blocks into the middle of town and the lake front. The rooms are big, the bathroom is spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The morning breakfast is excellent as well. The hotel common areas are beautiful, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. It's also only 45 minutes from MXP airport which is really convenient.
Disliked: Depending on which room you get there can be a lot of stairs to carry luggage up.
Liked: Brilliant location. Friendly staff. Good parking.
Disliked: Our cold bathroom had a heated towel rail as part of the central heating system. The heating was quite rightly not turned on during our stay - daytime temperatures were good. Our towels stayed damp and the bathroom stayed cold. The staff kindly replaced our towels once a day.
