  A very comfortable, friendly and beautifully maintained hotel

  Liked: Big clean room. Excellent pool. Friendly staff. Able to to use the indoor swimming pool at the next door hotel.

  huge hotel, retro ambiance, good facilities, nice for a stay in family or visit

  Liked: wonderful place along the lake, retro but not looking old, clean, cool pools and perfect place to visit the lake and isles.

  Disliked: breakfast is good but expensive for a buffet. restaurant is not bad but maybe too internationally generic. playground for children is cool but many toys start to be brittle or broken.

  I would return with caveats: fantastic if a good price, but overrated if you’re paying more

  Liked: It’s hard to describe this hotel - lots of pros and cons depending on how much it has cost. For us, we had a very good stay and had more pros than cons - so this review is nuanced, and overall I would recommend. The hotel really is opulent and beautiful, extremely clean, great pool and sunbed area, professional staff. The underground link to the Grand Hotel Dino is fantastic (and quite a quirk) as it leads straight to the beach club which is very nicely done. The Grand Hotel Dino is equally opulent and very well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay.

  Disliked: As others have said, not everything is included which is acceptable if you didn’t pay much (like us) but it’s ridiculous if you’ve paid a lot. The well appointed gym is not included and costs €12/day extra; the sauna isn’t included and I think you have to pay; the front row of the beach club is reserved for suites; the pontoon has to be reserved for a lot of money; the room fridge seems to require you to open with your card; you have to refuse a 5% service charge at the end if you don’t want it (which the hotel staff were polite and fine with doing). Not the end of the world but frustrating if you’ve paid a lot. We had one of the cheapest rooms in the oldest part of the hotel (which was musky and mouldy - we were told it was the AC, which we knew it wasn’t, and when we’re moved the next day the other room also smelt of mould). We accepted this frustrating downside as we paid a reasonable amount for our stay and enjoyed the hotel’s amenities but we expected better for such a professional hotel. The room itself was comfortable but it is very dated and doesn’t match the opulence of the hotel. Bedding is frumpy, the fittings feel run down and the bathroom needs renovating. Overall, it was acceptable but a downside.

  Very sweet hotel and nice staff, poor manager-Behaviour

  Liked: The staff was really nice and friendly, the Location was Perfect and the Atmosphere in this “old Italian style” hotel was very cosy. The pool and the poolbar was perfect.

  Disliked: One “dark cloud”: the manager… she was not very cooperative - we wanted to shorten our stay for one night and instead of offering something she was quit rude and insisted on a now show by full payment.
