Liked: This is an exceptionally special and unique property. We have travelled extensively- this space was definitely one of our favourites. Everything and more has been thought of.... It's Luxury with a capital L. The view is insane, the host is wonderful:) The owners have certainly put their heart and soul into this. We loved every moment and will most proabaly return - something we don't do that often as we like to discover new places.... HIGHLY recommended.:)
Disliked: Nothing - although the climb up the ladder to bed is not for the feint hearted but fun all the same - we laughed!!:)
Amazing 48h hours
Liked: Thanks to Sylvia we had a very nice stay. The view is astonishing as well as are the amenities. Spa, exterior chill out spaces and showers, jacuzzi and of course the very romantic and perfectly refubirshed stone chalet we stayed in. Grazzie Sylvia!

Exceptional moment
Liked: The Lago Maggiore remains one of the most unsettling places in Europe. Isola Bella stands as a jewel of architecture, dreamlike, suspended, half-composed of hanging gardens illuminated by roses and blue peacocks. Imagine being able to contemplate Borromean islands, all different, historical but alive (‘neither quite the same nor quite another’, as Paul Verlaine wrote) emerging from a silvery lake, from an Olympian height, embracing the surrounding mountains with a single glance. Welcome. Sylvia, your host, perfectly organized and gently methodical, has a logical answer to each of your questions (even before your arrival). The gate opens, your car slowly drives down a gravel driveway, shaded by century-old trees, and the house appears, poised, facing a breathtaking scenery. The architectural terrace, overhanging, offers you this incredible view that you can enjoy from different perspectives, sitting on a bench, or in armchairs, hammocks or smiling blissfully in the modern outdoor jacuzzi. All the facilities are top of the line and explained by Sylvia in detail upon your arrival. Like on a ‘Carte du Tendre’, you can pick shady or sunny spots, isolated or close by, but always carefully thought out. The private wellness room on the ground floor includes all instruments and accessories: saunas, tropical showers, elliptical bike, massage chairs, etc. Later, going up to the small perched space that is dedicated to you (as long as you want to spend an exceptional moment, put the cursor at the maximum), you will find yourself in the middle of the vegetation, still enjoying the view, grandiose, from a small chalet, in a bright space optimized with taste. A fire in the wood stove, two flutes of Prosecco and gentle music will follow. A house designed by an Italian composer in a heavenly garden, pointing at the Borromean Islands with your loved one … if you’re romantic, what are you waiting for? Michel et Carine.
A perfect wellness experience in a breathtaking ambience - a real gem!
Liked: A beautiful and well-maintained property with a breathtaking view over Lake Maggiore. The garden furniture, the interior design, the beds, and the luxurious spa area were all of highest quality for a relaxing wellness experience. The very accommodating and helpful hostess rounded off our stay perfectly.
