    Lovely

Liked: It was beautiful here, lovely garden and kind hosts

Disliked: Be aware there is a dog, with free rein of the garden. It meant my daughter didn’t want to be outside but if you don’t mind dogs it’s not a problem.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would recommend Villa Lucciolla

Liked: Even though we were late, due to an accident holding up the traffic, we were met with a smile. A nice surprise was a basket of pastries and cakes, plus coffee and other useful items. It was very hot so we used the car to go into Stresa but it would have been a nice walk in cooler weather. The lido was nearby, a short walk away, where we had a pleasant lunch and drinks and the family were able to swim. We also had a good meal at the restaurant nearby, with quick and smiling service even though we hadn't booked. Would definitely stay there again.

Disliked: Being a very hot summer it would have been nice to have had some air conditioning, but the position of the apartment meant that it was reasonably cool with the fans provided.

The most perfect property, in a wonderful location. We will most definitely return

Liked: The property was absolutely perfect. It had everything you could need and more. It was impeccably clean and very comfortable. The garden was absolutely beautiful, fabulous views, a choice of 3 areas to sit and while away the time with a coffee or a glass of wine. Marta, the owners daughter was so kind and helpful, she came to pick us up from the train station even though it was after 9pm due to a delayed flight. The resident cat and dog would wander over to visit us every day. We are huge animal lovers so this was a lovely bonus for us. It was the most perfect stay.

Disliked: There isn’t anything we didn’t like. It’s situated a little bit further than some properties but we personally enjoy walking and it’s only a short stroll.

Rejuvenating stay at spacious and quiet garden apartment

Liked: Lovely, spacious apartment in a lush garden setting in a quietish suburb on the edge of town. The hosts were friendly and helpful and we were met on arrival. Basic breakfast provisions were a welcome addition as the nearest supermarket was a mile away. Beds were very comfortable, apartment was clean and the garden area was large with views of the lake.

Disliked: Although I have no problem at all with dogs, my friend is scared of them and didn't appreciate a small pug being around. It was a bit of a hike into town (approx. 25 minutes) with no regular public transport so we relied on taxis or walked.

Disliked: To have to pay 20€ for the towels. However it was announced, I never encountered this during my travels.
