  A characterful small hotel on a fabulous island. Comfortable stay in a great location

  Liked: Fabulous waterfront location, with volcano views. Quirky small hotel.

  Disliked: The breakfast area was a little untidy at times. Dodgy coffee machine.

  Motorbike tour of Italy and Sicily

  Liked: The staff were kind and very helpful, they make trip bookings for you too. The room was comfortable, the bed too and the view was great, straight out to sea. The hotel is conveniently located for the ferry and walking around Stromboli. Breakfast had a wide variety of food, plenty to eat. We had 2 nights there but wish we had at least one more to discover Ginostra. We did the trek up Stromboli volcano absolutely amazing!

  A 2 night stay that worked for me to see the Stromboli Volcano

  Liked: Excellent location close to the harbour and on edge of town but close to restaurants etc. 24 hour advertised reception was not a reality, no response to calls during the night, no staff at desk before my early morning departing ferry.

  Disliked: Hot breakfast food was cold. Floor not swept or mopped crumbs just brushed from tables and left on floor for next next day. Same both days had breakfast. This sort of situation always worries me about other hygiene issues are corneers being cut.

  Handy location, rooms and facilities less satisfactory

  Liked: Location is handy for the ferry but it is right along the front looking out onto the fishing boats with people passing all the time. Generous breakfast.

  Disliked: Rooms feel dated, and the shower/bathroom was very small, needed a facelift. Storage space was limited. The safe was not fit for purpose, too small to even hold passports. More variety at breakfast would've been nice as the same was served each day..
