    Not worth the price

    Liked: Beautiful lamps.

Disliked: Dirty room with bugs inside (cf pictures), bathroom that seem modern but moldy, very far away from the city center and far away also from the train station.

Beautiful room but not a place that humans can live in due to humidity (everywhere in the room)

Liked: A solid location in the city, with a short walk to Ortigia and the option of free parking right in front of the room.

Disliked: In the evening and during the night, there was no running water, so you couldn’t use the shower or the toilet. I understand that this is an issue with the public water supply and not the owner, but it was still a bit inconvenient.

    False information at its finest

Liked: The location was ideal, a short walk to the city centre and easy to reach by car. The free parking outside was perfect. The coffee machine and the mini fridge was a plus.

Disliked: False information at its finest: it's advertised as a luxury accommodation but it's everything but luxurious unfortunately. The rooms are sharing a sort of terrace which is on the ground floor so barely I had some light in my room. From the moment we got into the room, we had several issues: at first the electricity didn't stay on as the key card wasn't working properly so I had to jiggle it for a bit to manage to turn the electric back on. Secondly, I plugged my multiplier into the wall to charge my phone and the whole plug came off, it wasn't even very heavy, and I had to put it back in place, with the risk of being electrocuted. Lastly, the toilet seat was loose and it didn't stay in place. I texted the owner and he promptly came the day after to sort the issues ( or at least he tried) as the plug was still falling and the toilet was still loose too. The electricity was fine though. The bed wasn't very comfortable: it feels like they were 2 beds put together with 2 different heights. Breakfast was the icing on the cake: the owner states in the description that the breakfast is not included but it's a good will gesture that he does for his guests, free of charge. Well, I was charged for it (I am not sure if it's booking's fault or some sort of false advertising) and what you get is utterly ridiculous: a basket with one muffin each, one juice for 2 people, one tiny pre packed piece of parmesan for 2, two slices of packed toasted crunchy bread with one jam and butter, one small milk in a carton and one raw egg, both which you can't cook because there are not facilities to cook anything but only a microwave in the corridor. If you advertise your place as a b&b you should provide the facilities to cook something, as well as crockery and cutlery but there was nothing of it. Only a few cupboards chained and with padlocks and one microwave.
