Fabulous
Liked: The location is fantastic. However, it is not directly on the waterfront, so do not expect to have a sea view from any of the rooms.
Disliked: First of all, it's not stated anywhere but the check in and everything is done from a restaurant close to the accomodation. We arrived to check in at 6pm (because the window for check-in is so strict and non-flexible) but no one arrived until 6:30pm... There was essentially no noise isolation whatsoever in the room, you could hear everything from the outside and from the other rooms. We were woken up very early in the morning by workmen that would not stop talking for hours on end. We could not get proper sleep in this place. Lastly, the shower was extremely mouldy and unpleasant.

Liked: The location was excellent, right in the heart of Ortigia and very close to the parking lot we used. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything was well taken care of. Marco was especially friendly and welcoming. He helped us with parking, even making sure we could drive in and park the car, and gave us great recommendations for places to visit in Ortigia. He also shared lots of interesting information about Sicily. He made us feel very welcome and was always happy to help with anything we needed.
Disliked: Nothing negative to mention. Everything was good, and we had a comfortable and pleasant stay.
Extremely poor communication. It’s not a bnb as nobody is present
Liked: Location was good. Very central.
Disliked: Check in was NOT relayed properly. We arrived at 5.00pm and had to wait an hour and a half for someone to turn up and let us in. Ridiculous that there is not self check in. It w as my birthday and we had wanted to shower and enjoy a roof top aperitivo but this was not to be. The host ignored my messages and when the girl finally turned up there was no apology and she was surly. Another couple were also waiting v but ended up walking off. Unfortunately we had too much luggage to do this. Bathroom very grotty.
Very cute room, close to parking and walking distance everywhere
Liked: Very close to the parking, nice restaurant with a 20% discount for hotel guests. Owner was very nice. If you like sunrises, you get a beautiful view just 2 minutes away.
Disliked: Note check in times do not include 15-18, although we did find the number of the owner and he came especially to let us check in.
Ortigia is a beautiful place and this accommodation is perfect for it

Liked: Marco - and my stay here were the highlight of Sicilia. First of all, the location is perfect. The room is cosy and comfortable. Marco and the staff, were very kind and helpful. And I was glad I was able to extend one more night on such short notice. I definitely recommend it and will come again ❤️
