  Fantastic 4 days in Ortigia with perfect weather for the beach and sightseeing

  Liked: Room with balcony was located on 1st floor, shared kitchen area with coffee machine and crockery & cutlery. The Lungomare was literally at the end of the street in a small piazza. Bonus the station shuttle bus stop was a 5 minute walk. Giuseppe was very attentive and helpful for anything that was asked and showed me around the town. Very pleasant man.

  Disliked: The stairs in all the old houses are always hard to manoeuvre with a large suitcase, but to be expected.

  Liked: We received a very warm welcome from Giuseppe, who, despite the language barrier, helped us get settled in and even offered us fruits from his garden.

  Disliked: The street is noisy, but that is a price we were willing to pay to be so close to the shore.

  Great apartment with good location

  Liked: Great apartment, had everything what is needed. Location was amazing, near the all main attractions and restaurants. Would come back in the future, host was nice and informative, thank you.

  Lovely place and staff

  Liked: My partner and I stayed at Casa 68 and the staff were so so lovely. Giuseppe met us at the property and despite the language barrier, he was so accommodating. He used google translate to make sure we felt welcomed, even offering us fresh oranges from his property. The stay was great, perfect size for us, aircon and a lovely balcony. After the stay, I realised I had left my ring in the apartment and by this time I was back in the UK. I had accepted that it was likely gone but sent a message to the Casa 68 staff anyway. Giuseppe was on a personal holiday at the time but was still nice enough to coordinate with his team and cleaners. They found my ring and posted it to me. It was great. Would recommend. Lovely place and people.

  I will totally return to this property!

  Liked: I really loved the place. Ortigia is a small place and everything is close, but the room was very close to the sea and bus stop, like 10-20 steps away. A BIG SHOUTOUT FROM ME for having water all the time even though the whole island had water outage for like two days. It matters more than you think because some friends of mine had to pay an extra room -apart of their room- on a 5 star hotel just to have water to have a shower after the sea. There is a shared kitchen where you can prepare meals or make coffee but there is a personal fridge in the room.

  Disliked: It is a small thing but the shower phone could be cleaner. But the rest of the bathroom and shower were okay.
