Exceptional
Love the location, friendly hosts and the property quirkiness
Liked: Hosts were welcoming and supportive. Location was excellent Eclectic atmosphere created by hosts who have quirky furniture and items spread throughout the property. Great it had lifts with machine and dryer available at minimum cost.
Disliked: Shower was very small and we are not large people. The buskers outside of an evening could sometimes be very loud and annoying however they generally finished by 10:30pm.
Liked: Fausta and Elio are amazing hosts providing excellent information on Ortigia and who proudly support local businesses with their recommendations for.restaurants, pharmacies, the best gelato etc etc etc and kindly booked us a taxi on departure. The apartment is situated in a prime location on a pedestrian street and close to all facilities, historical sights and transport. An absolute gem and rate it a 10!!!

An amazing place to stay!
Liked: We opted to stay in a room rather than an apartment, which included an amazing breakfast full of lots of local foods. Fausta and Elio were fantastic hosts, giving us plenty of suggestions for places to go. The location was great, right in the main street, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The decor is great - lots of old typewriters, books, and record players, adding to the uniqueness of the accommodation.
Disliked: Loud buskers on the street a couple of nights but thankfully usually stopped by 10pm.
Absolutely fantastic stay on central Otagio with wonderful hosts!
Liked: The breakfast was amazing. The owners were so accommodating and friendly. The room was very comfortable. The library and shared living space was extra special. The position was perfect!
Disliked: Nothing
Liked: Casa VerbaVolant is a dream come true for any book/writing lover. Such a welcoming and comfortable space. As beautiful as Ortigia. Fausta and Elio's hospitality is above and beyond. I could have honestly stayed for months.
