  Liked: We could not have been happier to find Casetta Anatoli. To say this accommodation is a gem, would be an understatement. The minute you walk in the door, you can feel the history, evident in the old style typical Ortygian architecture, with a wonderful archway supporting the entire beautiful room. Outside is an amazing covered private walkway, perfect for taking breakfast and so safe for our little 1 year old to run around and explore. In fact, the whole island feels incredibly safe. The room itself was spotless and fulfilled all of our needs and expectations, with a well equipped kitchen and an immaculately clean bathroom. The bed too, was both huge and comfortable. A truly romantic little hideaway for our little family. One of the strongest features of this property is its location. You are literally a pleasurable few minutes walk away from anywhere on the island and just 2 minutes away from wonderful swim locations, used by locals and tourists alike. Honestly, bring your walking shoes, be prepared to explore this island and you'll fall in love with Ortygia just like we did. And to top everything off, our host Marco was both a thorough gentleman and incredibly helpful. He made our stay a delight. We genuinely hope to visit again someday. We've left a piece of ourselves there.
