Liked: This is an hotel full of character and style with brilliant service from truly excellent staff. Our room was large, very comfortable and clean with A/C and an excellent shower which was greatly appreciated. The hotel was everything we hoped for and more besides and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff cannot be overstated. We enjoyed excellent breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay and under a sumptuous grapevine. We returned frequently to the terrace for afternoon beers after having been out early to explore before the hottest part of the day. We then went out again for an evening exploration and dinner. The sunsets are beautiful. The location of the hotel on Ortega itself is fabulous and you are totally spoilt for choice of restaurants, cafes, bars, market and gelato shops with everything in walking distance We had a truly wonderful week and the unique nature of the hotel and its lovely staff greatly contributed to making it a memorable and enjoyable trip for us
