  Not shabby meets chic, but shabby meets junk

  Liked: Location is perfect

  Disliked: Bathroom floor was so dirty that i had to wear slippers while taking a shower. The shower was mouldy, too small. The doors would not close properly. The terrace was a back little porch stuffed with dusty junk. Could not keep the window open because the neighbours were smoking on the terrace and the cigarette smoke would come inside while we were just awake...At least the towels were clean. The AC unit was too old and made a beeping sound every few minutes. Really horrible place. I did not take photos, but videos. So I cannot upload.

  Liked: Nice place in the center. Accomodating and helpful host.

  Disliked: The breakfast was insufficient and too sparse in a nearby bar/restaurant - a cup of coffee, a small yoghurt and one bread with something.

  Location good, lots of noise and could definitely be cleaner

  Disliked: Although there is a cleaner daily, the cups were not clean and towels were only changed after we asked. I think they took a coffee pod that had fell on the floor back out of the bin and placed it in basket next to coffee machine. There were building works on the first night at 4:40am in the building itself, it including a lot of unloading and hoisting outside. It is noisy each night anyway due to rubbish collection right outside window. There was a water shortage and we were asked to use water sparingly on arrival.

  In the heart of Ortigia ♥️

  Liked: Stunning location. Very warm and friendly host who helped us with suggested itineraries, taxi bookings and restaurant recommendations. Nice, big room with lovely view of Minerva Piazza. Close to everything and an ideal place to base yourself from. Breakfast options included from two very nice bakeries/cafes near the BnB.

  Disliked: Going home!

  Excellent communication in a nice city and fantastic location!

  Liked: Amazing location. Host was very helpful with parking. Room nice. There was an issue with the water and he did his very best to sort this out. It wasn’t anything to do with the room but something that happens in the area occasionally and he ordered water to be delivered!!!

  Disliked: Nothing.
