  Good for a short stay as long as you have no knee problems

  Liked: Good location, comfy bed, helpful staff.

  Disliked: Shower was in need of repair. Room smelled of mildew. We didn’t realize there would be so many steps everywhere, even down to our room.

  Fabulous stay in Ortigia

  Liked: Excellent location in Ortigia, everything is at walking distance. The hotel is nice, so was the staff, very kind and accommodating.

  Liked: The location was very good for our needs.

  Disliked: The shower was small with a broken door handle and there was no shelf for shampoo or soap, making its use difficult and frustrating. There was a leaking valve in the adjacent room WC that squeaked all night and there was a smell of sewerage for one night but that was rectified. The breakfast was really bad. I would recommend getting your breakfast from a cafe nearby.

  Wonderful location - lovely small hotel but the bathroom really needs some attention

  Liked: Location is excellent, room is comfortable & clean, staff really friendly, car valet service was great & breakfast was plentiful.

  Disliked: Bathroom was clean but really needs updating - parts of the shower were broken.
