  Excellent location, beautiful flat

  Liked: Lovely and clean apartment, great location close to Ortigia, communication with owner was amazing, really interesting and characterful decor.

  Disliked: We personally didn't love the memory foam mattresses although the beds and bedding were really good quality, so just personal preference. It wouldn't put us off visiting again!

  Literally felt at the comfort of my home and had everything I need

  Liked: The flat was almost newly decorated. Everything was spotless clean and very well organized. The flat has everything you might need. We truly felt at the comfort of our own house as everything was really nice taken care of. Roberta thought of every detail for a comfortable stay.

  Great stay in just a short walking from Ortigia

  Liked: Apartment was clean, light and had all the amenities needed for a holiday. All beds for our family of 5 people were good. It was nicely located close to a good grocery and clothing stores. Maybe some 500m from the bridges of Ortigia and historic center. Our family had a rental car and we found quite easily free parking in the little narrow streets behind the apartment. This apartment has even three little balconies. If you have problems climbing the stairs, this apartment is located in 2nd (3rd) floor. Not a problem for our family as were also walking here and there all day long.

  Disliked: The other bedroom was a little noisy due to a busy traffic just under the balcony. There was no microwave.

  Good value for money, but a fee drawbacks exist

  Liked: Excellent location, within 10 mins walking to Ortigia. Also the apartment is big enough for a family of 3-4. The wifi is good enough, it is clean and well equipped in the kitchen and bathroom. It is easy to get into the apartment with a self-checkin process which is smooth and the host is responsive.

  Disliked: If you’re travelling outside of Summer, you will need heating especially for the night when temperatures drop outside to about 5 Celsius and indoor to about 15 Celsius. The apartment does have a solution, the air conditioning units (present in both rooms), but they dry out the air very fast and it becomes uncomfortable. I am aware few apartments in Southern Italy have heating, but it definitely would have helped. The mattress in at least one of the beds needs replacing ASAP, it simply leaves a huge hole after a few minutes od staying there (no, I am not fat) and it becomes difficult to sleep or move during sleep. Finally, the building is right next to an intersection and especially during weekends it is noisy as heck until late at night. So if you have small kids or are lite sleepers, beware.
