We had a wonderful visit and our host could not have been more helpful and friendly
Liked: The location was absolutely fantastic. A few steps to the sea and beach and convenient for walking around Ortigia. It was very close to excellent restaurants and bars along with city sights but also very quiet and quaint. The apartment was very well equipped with a lovely secluded courtyard garden. Our host Luca, had left coffee, olive oil, a lovely cake and a bottle of wine for us and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble to help us enjoy our stay.

Liked: Couldn’t fault this place. Although it’s a single room - with bathroom attached - it felt airy and spacious and was beautifully decorated with a comfortable sofa and great ambient lighting too. It had everything we needed, tea bags, tea towels, laundry soap, as well as a home made tart and a gratis bottle of lovely red wine to welcome us. What a wonderful touch. The bed was the most comfortable we had in Sicily! There were some nice bathroom products which were much appreciated and it was all spotlessly clean. Luca, our charming host, just couldn’t have been more helpful, providing excellent restaurant recommendations as well as maps and tips on where to go and what to visit. His garage suggestion was invaluable. The apartment couldn’t be more perfectly located, just off the Via Roma in the heart of Ortigia and with the sea just steps away.

Liked: My fiancee and I thought this apartment is beautiful and very much in the style of old Sicily with modern amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there and are looking to book the same apartment next time. Luca is incredibly conscientious and a superb host who is full of helpful tips. He even notified me where to watch my favourite football team along with where to eat and drink well. All in all we enjoyed this apartment completely.

Liked: The apartment was more spacious than expected. It was cool, clean and well stocked for water, coffee, tea and cleaning products. A definite highlight was the hospitality of Luca and family. Not only did he provide a wealth of information (not the stock std brochures) but also a home baked torta and a bottle of wine.

Great studio apartment in fantastic location
Liked: Location - in the heart of the old town and steps from several swimming spots - very welcome in the August heat. Convenient as a base for exploring other areas (we had a car.) Clean and well equipped apartment - very comfortable for 2 of us. Luca the owner was exceptional. Always available and responsive, with many ideas for where to go and what to do.
Disliked: If you need to use the bathroom at night you have to descend the steep staircase from the loft to the main floor (we knew this in advance and it wasn’t a big deal for us.)
