  Disliked: The location is quite far from Ortigia (15–20 minutes walking) through an unpleasant area that feels unsafe, poorly lit, and full of trash. We ended up driving back every evening because walking there at night was not enjoyable. The building entrance is very unpleasant, with a lot of garbage right at the entrance. Access to the rooms is through a small inner courtyard that smells like sewage. There are no restaurants, or shops nearby, and no real relaxing area. The breakfast space is a windowless room that felt more like a hallway than a dining area. The rooms are on the ground floor, so you hear every car passing by. Our room also faced a manhole cover, which made the noise worse. The room has no proper windows, only a door facing the street, so ventilation is limited. The view outside was just more trash. The duvet was also torn and stained. Overall, staying here negatively affected our vacation experience. It may work for a quick overnight stay in Syracuse, but I wouldn’t recommend it for tourists looking for a pleasant holiday stay.
