I would recommend this B&B for its wonderful location and attentive owner
Liked: The owner was very nice and extremely helpful. He provided important information about the archaeological park, which I am glad I visited! The breakfast each morning was outstanding and featured some of the local, unique pastry.
Disliked: It was a little lonely, since it was just me and the owner in the building.
Great location and wonderful host
Liked: Such a nice and great stay there. My host Federico is very helpful and friendly. His restaurant suggestions are really great and you won’t make mistakes to choose for tasting local dishes! He can also bake cakes and they are very tasty, if you have chance to have cake for your Italian breakfast, you will agree with me:D if you have questions about the tourist attractions, Federico is always helpful to give you some advices.
Convenient accommodation if you are visiting Syracuse
Liked: We stayed at the Meraki Ortigia at the beginning of September when the weather was still unusually hot It’s located in the centre of the old town in a very quite street with easy access to restaurants and shops and about a 25-minute walk from the train and bus station These are rooms in a residential building. The room was on the first floor with no lift. Our room was nicely decorated with a separate room with a settee and windows you could open. The bathroom was very modern, and the wifi worked well Breakfast is on the roof and is very simple, consisting of choices of sweet & savoury items, fruit and tea and coffee There were problems with the air conditioning and hot water during our stay and the owner very kindly gave us a partial refund So very nice and convenient accommodation if you are visiting Syracuse

Liked: The host was excellent and really made us feel as if we had a home away from home. He was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely, abundant, and included fresh home made items. The place was very well cared for and very clean. We would definitely go back.
