Exceptional
Liked: Stefania is such a wonderful host and the place is just gorgeous! The interiors, the location and the welcoming are just unique. Our room was super clean and very comfortable. Stefania has an ingredient energy we love being there and we will come back soon!

Beautiful, modern rooms with a wonderful host
Liked: Beautiful, large and modern room, and a great breakfast. Stefania was fantastic! Convenient to the bus and train stations.
Disliked: The street is a bit dreary, but it’s much nicer inside the B&B.
First Class (especially if you are coeliac / gluten free)
Liked: If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area then stay here (we stayed 8th/9th Oct), this B & B is simply the best. The location is ideal around a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of the island and there is parking on the main roads. Ortiga's Gate does not look that exciting from the outside and there are stairs to the first floor, but the accommodation itself is beautifully decorated all very new and exceptionally clean. Our bedroom was lovely with plenty of room and with wonderfully high ceilings, it was also very quiet. The star of the place though is Stefania, the owner. She could not have been more friendly and helpful with lots of recommendations of places to eat and things to do. The breakfast she provided was first class (which can be eaten either on the outside terrace or inside). As someone who is coeliac I can highly recommend it as I had the best pastries ever. My husband (no allergies) had different pastries all equally wonderful and what we didn't eat she packed up for us to have for our lunch. We hope to be returning to Sicily again next year and if in the area we would only stay here. Thank you Sefania if only all places were like this.

Liked: The B&B is beautifully designed. Spacious, clean and well appointed. Lovely view from the balcony. Breakfast was delicious! Sabina made it so special for us. A short walk to the ancient ruins was a plus.
