Exceptional
Liked: The apartment was wonderfully spacious, and having a kitchen made it really convenient to cook after picking up groceries from the local supermarket. The location is very convenient and the place was spotlessly clean — we had a lovely and comfortable stay!
Disliked: The entrance and keys to the building was a bit tricky to find, and it took quite a lot of back-and-forth over WhatsApp before we managed to check in smoothly. Parking also needs to be arranged in advance — as Ortigia is a ZTL (limited traffic zone) — but we couldn't get in touch with the designated parking spot, so we ended up using the public parking outside instead, about a 10-15 minute walk. Fine in good weather, though.
Liked: So easy to access and the location was incredible. It felt like home!
Loved staying in the heart of beautiful Ortigia
Liked: Excellent location to explore Ortigia. Lovely little balcony off the kitchen. Spacious apartment. Great to have a washing machine. Convenient supermarket directly opposite apartment.
Disliked: There is some renovations being done on neighbouring apartments and on the church at the end of the street which was at times a little noisy. Main bedroom bed was very firm.
Liked: Fantastic location and a very comfortable stay. The apartment is light & bright, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed. Would absolutely recommend to others
Disliked: A few areas of wear showing, a slight mildew smell in the bedroom. The bar downstairs plays loud music until midnight but it’s to be expected in the city center. The WiFi quit working mid stay, we got it going again after unplugging and waiting a bit, but the last night it quit altogether- randomly.
Liked: Beautiful place and well equipped. The host was very kind and responsive!
Disliked: Only drawback is that the parking is not so easy to find in the area, but the location is great for visiting and restaurants and bars.
