Exceptional
Peaceful, secure, clean, comfortable - fantastic apartment!
Liked: I had a great stay, really loved the apartment - it was exactly as it looks in the photos. It was spotlessly clean, good wifi, good air con, and all the appliances were brand new. I loved the peace on the balcony each morning. The supermarket was just across the street and there was a stall selling fresh fruit and veg just outside. The main island of Ortigia was a short 20 minute walk with plenty of cafes and restaurants on the way. I felt very secure in the apartment as a solo traveller, also a great place to get some work done (the balcony is not in the direct sunlight and the wifi is excellent). Alverio was so lovely to meet and provided me with some great recommendations on arrival. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
Disliked: I have nothing bad to say about the place - everything was 100%!
Clean and nice, but noisy apartment
Liked: The host communicated well, was friendly and offered a lot of tips for spending our time in the city, plus local snacks. Flexible with checkin and checkout. The apartment was clean and looked new, small but enough room for a basic studio. The balcony was a plus. The area is full of shops, cafes, restaurants, a supermarket is right in front of the building. Walking distance to Ortigia.
Disliked: Balcony doors have no mosquito nets, so we had mosquitos during the night - annoying. You could not sleep with the door closed, because it was very hot and the AC was only cooling the living room and kitchen. No AC in the bedroom. The area is noisy, didn’t sleep well - scooters, cars, loud people day and night. Thin walls, could hear the neighbours snoring. You can find free parking around the block, but it gets difficult if it’s not very early or very late.
Amazing apartment at an amazing location
Liked: We loved this place! first of all Saracusa is amazing. we loved the energy. Everything was on walking distance from the appartment. The appartement itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. We did not have any trouble finding a parking spot. Sometimes we had to walk a bit, but that was fine. The owner was very friendly and helped us a lot where to go and where to eat. Would definitely stay here again when I visit Sicily!

Liked: I liked everything. The apartment was well-equipped for both short and long stays. There is everything nearby—grocery store across the street, nice local takeout, fresh vegetables, and fruits on the street. The city center and Ortigia are a 10-15 minute walk away. Host Alverio was very friendly and helpful, answering questions as soon as possible. 10 out of 10 experience."
Perfect location to explore the city
Liked: The flat ist perfectly located close to the train and bus central stations with both archeological park and Ortigia in walking distance. A good supermarket ist directly in front of the house. The apartment is on 5th floor, a lift ist available. Alverio, the friendly host, provided lots of recommendations on what to see and where to eat.
