  Stunning location, spacious apartment

  Liked: Amazing location, gorgeous sea view! And the host was so lovely, we arrived very late but she happily kept in touch and met us to let us in and give us the keys

  Room with a beautiful view but uncomfortable at times

  Liked: We liked the location and view. It was highly convenient for my husband to go to the beach everyday. It was the reason we selected this property. The property was roomy. Property manager was willing to meet us to find the property once asked. Early check in was highly appreciated. Kitchen items were nice to have. We really enjoyed Ortigia and will be back!

  Disliked: We did not feel welcomed. The property manager seemed as if she was not pleased with having to do her job. The very first message we got was for us to make sure we look at the trash /recycling schedule. It was challenging for us to find the property dragging our suitcases on the brick road. We had to asked for her to meet us on the road since we could not find the apartment but was on the correct road. More information for reference in finding this property would help greatly since it is easy to find if description would include: building to your left w/ large brown door as soon as you turn from main road. Sign is too small and locals don’t know the apartment name. There is no keypad. You have to meet w/ manager to get in. We are not used to meeting property owner in this manner or looking for an apt in Europe. We spent 2.5 weeks in Sicily and stayed in many types of accommodations including apartmentS. In comparison, all other managers gave us so much information and constant communication. We stayed for 4 nights. She declined to give us more than 2 toilet paper and no offer to switch for clean towels. The bed is old and linens did not smell fresh. It was too warm even with the AC but we made it work. We did not have running water for part of 2 days with 1 night having to buy bottled water to use to “shower”. Be prepared that this can happen anytime in Ortigia.

  Liked: It's a beautifully decorated and renovated apartment. We loved the location, close to the water and restaurants. We also loved having a washing machine and 2 bathrooms. It was perfect for a family of 3.

  Perfect location but a few adjustments have to be done

  Liked: The position is perfect for going to Cala Rossa and exploring the city. The property answered fast to our request during our stay.

  Disliked: The mattress of the couch bed is not good at all. It should be changed. The bathrooms should be cleaner. Also, the property should change the pot of the kitchen because their bottom part is burnt. I would suggest to provide new kitchen sponges for cleaning the dishes between every new guests.

  Liked: My son and I spent 3 nights at Residenze dello scirocco in Ortega. The apartment is in a lovely old building, very spacious and clean and in an amazing location. It’s just a stroll to bars and cafes and the small beach opposite is lovely- we went for a swim twice a day during our stay. The window has a lovely view of the beach.

  Disliked: The property is lovely - there is nothing we didn’t like. I would recommend adding a small high table and couple of high chairs to take advantage of the lovely view but overall we really enjoyed our stay.
