Fabulous
Liked: The place was clean. The location is great for exploring the town. Self check-in info was clear. There were cooking utensils available. The host also shared places for free parking.
Disliked: Stay away if you are claustrophobic as there is only one small window opening to an empty place. The AC noise outside was loud during the night. The bathroom floor stays wet for a while after showering.
Has all you need for a really short stay. Convenient to all sites
Liked: Tiny room incl small kitchen, but had enough for a couple of nights stay. Short stroll to everything. Quiet area. Comfortable bed. Good bathroom.
Disliked: Wifi not great. Worked better in the courtyard.
Can be a nice stay with some work
Liked: Location, as long as you're not driving. Private courtyard was cute, but plastic furniture required cleaning before use.
Disliked: October 2025. The property suffers from deferred maintenance (it was a 9.2 in 2018, but a 6-7 in 2025). The large gas burner did not work. Teflon coated cookware was scratched to the point of rendering them useless. This facility can be a very nice place to stay with some work. However, if you're driving it would be more convenient to stay in town and walk to the island.
Liked: Very simple but super cute. Looks exactly like in the pictures. Kitchen was well equipped. Wifi and AC worked well. We loved the little courtyard.
Superb
Liked: I loved the location. Very close to everything, yet in a quiet square. The apartment itself is small, but it has everything one may need. I also found it really convenient to have a small kitchen for basic things. Even though it was self check-in, the host was super responsive and proactive, which I really appreciated.
Disliked: It would be great if the windows had mosquito screens.
Very good
Liked: The location very central in Ortigia and not far from.the parking outside Ortigia. Small basic kitchen. Only on line but good contact with the host, but fortunatelly very helpful neighbour next door. AC as heating efficient.
Disliked: Everything very basic, no big window. Only for a short stay. Some paper towels could be useful.
