  Good location, but important information and comforts are missing

  Liked: the apartment is very well located, with shops and restaurants right in front, making it convenient for daily needs and exploring Trapani. The apartment itself appears to have been recently renovated, and the bedroom is spacious with a large bed.

  Disliked: the apartment is on the 4th floor with no lift, which was not communicated in advance. This was particularly difficult as I was traveling with my 73-year-old mother. This is essential information that should be clearly stated in the listing. The building itself is quite old and in need of renovation. While the stairs have been updated, the rest of the building feels outdated and poorly maintained. Although the owner met us upon arrival, oral communication was limited due to language barriers, and there was no assistance with carrying our luggage up four floors, which would have made a big difference given the circumstances. In terms of comfort, there are several downsides: The mattress is uneven in the center due to wear The sofa is very uncomfortable, with a very thin mattress There is no Wi-Fi The storage for cleaning products is very minimal and not what one would typically consider a proper cabinet The apartment also has a rooftop with potential, but it is not very usable due to seagulls.

  Disliked: We woke up agitated several times during the night due to a huge “siren” sound. This sound was recurring during the night which kept us from a good night sleep. We later found in the morning that it was the sound of the water deposit going to and from the toilets. Every time someone flushed their toilet, we would wake up.

  clean and comfortable if basic. value for money and terrace lovely

  Liked: Clen and tidy apartment centrally located. We loved sitting on terrace in evening enjoying the sights and breeze. Very close to transport links for coach ferry and train.
