  Top location

  Liked: Top location, spacious, clean, comfy beds, good comms with the host. Free parking at Docciola carpark, just be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairway. It's a good workout.

  Disliked: The bathroom is a bit tired, shower door broken, no rubbish bin in the bathroom. The fridge smelled bad.

  A beautiful spacious apartment within the walls of this picturesque old town

  Liked: Location was perfect, right in the heart of the old town. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and was clean and very comfortable.

  Disliked: We travelled in July so it was very hot. A few extra fans in the apartment would have been great as there is no ac. But every other thing was perfect.

  Comfortable stay in the center of Volterra

  Liked: The location of the apartment is very central and the flat is large and well equipped. It is just a 5-10 minute walk from la Docciola parking (many stairs to climb!) so convenient for the ones travelling by car.

  Disliked: No hairdryer, beatle-like insects inside the house.

  Though the location was great, this apartment didn’t made it on our happy list

  Liked: The location of the apartment was great, close to everything

  Disliked: The apartment was quite dark and very noisy - you could even hear neighbours brushing their teeth... earplugs helped a little. The bedroom window went to a small courtyard that was dirty and we didn’t feel comfortable to keep the window open during the night. The mattress was old and sagging heavily and definitely beyond its life span. Sleep became a pain. Overall it felt like everything was a bit second hand. There were not even cups in the kitchen to make tea.
