  Great apartment, location in an outstanding town!

  Take a walk on the Tuscan side

  Liked: Location was perfect - easy walks to everywhere. Quiet at night. Plenty of information about Volterra left in a folder in the apartment. Plenty of space for the 2 of us. All very comfortable... not sure how well 4 people would cope - but fine if you have children. Try the plant based restaurant across the street. Yes it is vegan and yes I do like to eat meat. The quality of the food was exceptional with a diverse range of styles and tastes - from delicately flavoured to a very tasty lentil curry. Had lunch there when we arrived in Volterra and it was so good we went back for dinner another night.

  Disliked: Only one fan in a 2 bedroom property. It was OK for us as we just kept moving it from the living room to the bedroom, but if you were using both bedrooms it would have been impossible - the wether was hot. There were only 2 pillows on the bed (thin) and the spares in the cupboard didn't have covers. We just used the ones from the 2nd bedroom. Do Italians like sleeping on rock hard pillows? they seem to be very common.

  Beautiful Apartment in a beautiful street

  Liked: The apartment was right in the centre of the old town,fantastic location in a beautiful and picturesque street.We arrived by car, parking in a paid parking station 200 mts from the apartment (€12 per day)-easy drive down the hill to supermarket The apartment was beautifully decorated and spacious.Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and good Wfi.Shower a tad squeezy. We loved this apartment and would highly recommend. Host was friendly and easily contactable

  Disliked: Steep stairs to bring luggage but not so bad since you only have to do it once.
