Wonderful stay! Recommended, however with some point requiring improvement
Liked: - Wonderful welcome. We arrived late, and our camels were still there waiting for us. - The rid in the desert in sunset was fantastic, and the arrival by night quite magical. - Tents are cosy, well decorated and most of all very clean. - Despite proximity with other camps, the view on desert is stunning and we don’t the neighbouring camps - The general look of the camp is as nice as pictured on the advertisement, as you can see on attached picture. - Staff is friendly, especially with children
Disliked: - On top of the price in Booking you have to pay 40 eur per person to get from Merzouga to the camp on camel, or 30 eur on car. You are not allowed to use your own car even using the nearby road. So price of transport is higher than price of the night. I suppose this part of the business model, but good to be warned. - The camp pretends to be “in middle of the dune”. In reality, it’s along a road with at least 30 similar camps packed one along each other. You can see on the picture attached the exact location on google map. - Food is quite cheap (eg. Beetroot and corn salad, or on breakfast orange juice half cut with water (a crime in this country! 😊) - Snowboards are free to be used, but they are broken, impossible to ride standing. Still fun thought! - All payment in cash only.

Liked: A day full of discovery! Our 4x4 adventure took us through a variety of landscapes, far from the usual tourist routes. A fantastic way to experience the many different sides of the Sahara.
Liked: The meals were a real highlight of our stay at the camp. Each dish had its own flavours, with lovely touches of traditional Moroccan cooking. It was a pleasure to enjoy good food in such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Liked: What a wonderful surprise! I never expected to have such an enjoyable experience in the middle of the dunes. Between the activities, the meals, and the friendly interactions with the team, everything came together to make it a truly memorable stay.
