Exceptional
Liked: The riad was beautiful with the mosaic tiles. We were greeted with cookies and traditional mint tea. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The breakfast was simple with yogurt, fresh fruits, pastries and eggs accompanied with tea and coffee. The location was close to historic sites and Medina. The riad sign was well labeled on the streets so it was easy to find.
Disliked: The doors felt unsafe. Someone tried to open our door at night and luckily it was locked. But I blocked the door with a bench for safety. The windows also were not locked or had bars so if you opened the windows-anyone could hop inside your room. But I figured out how to lock the windows. And nothing happened.

Liked: Excellent location - walking distance to many historical areas and the ocean. Off-street courtyard type parking space for our motorcycle-sidecar (see photo). Manager helped make some phone calls in Arabic to help us set up a guided trip for our next location. Very kind - very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and included an abundance of fresh fruit.
Nice stay in a traditional Raid
Liked: We had a family room which was like its own little house with a separate second bedroom and sitting area and huge bathroom. Staff were very friendly.
Traditional, homely feel and a lovely, passionate staff
Liked: I really enjoyed my short yet wholesome stay at Riad Meftaha. All facilities, amenities and services were professional and clean. The complementary breakfast was fresh and authentic. Location is perfect. But by far the lasting impression is the beautiful staff at Riad Meftaha that truly make it feel like your home away from home. The concierge, Nouhalia, awaited my late arrival (10pm) and ensured I was well received. In the morning, Nouhalia provided me with the presence of a friend who I had felt I had known a lifetime. With her recommendations I mapped out my itinerary for Rabat, and I had a true local's experience tailored to my personality. Inshallah when I visit Rabat again I will be sure to stay at Riad Meftaha, amongst genuine, authentic people who care and amplify this through love.
Liked: The staff is friendly, she lets us park in front of the hotel to keep safe and convenience, and we got fabulous restaurant recommendation from staff.
