  Perfect

  Liked: There was no breakfast, as agreed, but two bottles of fresh orange juice were provided for me in the fridge which were absolutely life-savers. I loved the little kitchen with its water kettle and coffee machine (although I don't use the latter), tea and coffee. On a warm and sunny day it would be even nicer, as the door opens onto a garden and there is a little table under the tree. The decor of the room appealed to me. The place felt safe because not only the door could be locked, but the access from the street was also locked. The host was very kind and friendly and thoughtful.

  Disliked: The steps so close to the door were a bit scary. When I arrived in the night, I could have fallen down them (luckily did not), but I learned later there is usually a light with a sensor. Very important that it works.

  Very cold in winter

  Liked: Although I never met the owners, they seem quite friendly, check in was over whatsap and a key in a box. They left quite some snacks and drinks for the guests wich was great. Very nice designed room wich felt very comfy, you just need to be tall enough to comfortably get in and out of the bed.

  Disliked: I was way to cold the first night I was there - and could not heat myself up the first morning - and also the second evening I was there I was freezing to death. The general heating was just not working enough hours to keep the place warm. For the price I payed this is a very bad experience. Second night I could just keep warm enough to get by, using the crappy electric heather they supplied. So I would definetely not advice this place in cold winter days. In the spring/summer it will be a great spot I guess. But now the whole experience was ruined by the temperature.

  Liked: Very cosy garden flat with all mod cons, surrounded by greenery, and with generous drinks/snacks gifted by the owner. Just perfect.
