  Very good and comfortable apartment, but need to be cleaned better

  Liked: We stated in two apartments of the same host. Both of them are very good, stylish, well equipped.

  Disliked: Cleaning must be done much better.

  We enjoyed our short stay in Gouda and the apartment met all our needs

  Liked: The terrace, the view of the square and the spaciousness.

  Disliked: Access would have been difficult had we had larger luggage or less physically able. There was no clothes storage space apart from one rail. The entrance was unprepossessing, although once inside, the apartment was very pleasant.

  Liked: A perfect location to launch our stay in Gouda. There is a view over the market square, and it was fun to watch the action as they set up the Thursday Cheese Market from the comfort of our room. The space was so clean and comfortable, and we had good communication with the host. The check in process was smooth and easy.

  Disliked: Oh those stairs! Be prepared, they are steep! But worth the view- we felt like we were in a tree house!

  Basic but pleasant, beware of the stairs!

  Liked: The A/C worked well to keep the apartment cool for sleeping. Bed was comfy enough.

  Disliked: Very basic, fine for a day or two, would be a problem for a longer stay. Noise from the square on weekend nights is very loud, take earplugs if going. None of the blinds fit well so they let a fair amount of light in so take a sleep mask too. The 2nd and third flights of stairs into the apartment are really challenging, if you have any sort of mobility issues this is probably not the apartment for you. Payment of the city tax is expected in cash which meant finding an ATM and trying to get change as we never have cash. If you don't close the bathroom door quickly enough after your shower you will set the smoke alarm off. Conflicting messages on WhatsApp and email about what do with trash on check out.

  very steep stairs, but excelent location, clean and comfortable room

  Disliked: very steep stairs but manageable. Fine for younger people for one or two nights.
