  Simple room in a great location for a short stay

  Liked: Great location, great sized family room and easy check in and out despite reception not being staffed.

  Disliked: Nothing particularly. Was on the pricey side given the facilities on offer (no breakfast option for example). We wouldn’t have wanted to stay more than one night.

  Disliked: Digital key didn't work so had to walk round to pick up a card key. Met 3 other guests who had same problem

  Liked: The hotel location is great, just in the old town city centre.

  Disliked: The reception was poor. I've been asked to check-in digitally and that was okay. The app released an electronic key to save in the phone wallet. Once in front of the door the electronic key was not working. I chatted with the personnel on booking chat and they couldn't fix the problem. I met another customer who told me to go to another hotel to get a physical key. I went where he told me and the receptionist was helpful and produced a physical key that worked. The inconvenience took me 30 minutes (we were on a bike trip and needed a shower as soon as possible). At that point I wrote in the chat that I solved the problem otherwise (and without their help) and they said that was fine. Usually when you create such an inconvenience and the customer solves it by himself, an elegant landlord "offers a drink" to excuse.

  Disliked: The check-in process was a little confusing. I had to assist another older couple how to access the digital key. The message re the physical key pickup was inside the property so not accessible to someone who couldn’t get in.
