  Great place to stay in the City

  Liked: Great location for seeing all the City sites and being close to restaurants. The classic style of the property is beautiful and it is well equipped.

  Great value, nice stay

  Liked: big room, good bed and pillows, wel catered with coffee machine and tea and there was a kitchen if I would have liked to. Spacious bathroom. On the Main Street of the old town.

  Disliked: Curtains of white fabric, so let in light in the morning. Room could not be locked from the outside, but I was the only guest. Parking in Groningen is expensive.

  Liked: Within the historic centre of Groningen, this unique apartment has everything that a family of 4 needs to have quality time when returning from walks around the town. The two bedrooms are comfortable, with the master being spacious enough to accommodate armchairs, coffee table and desk. The dining room is exquisite and the perfect place to dine with style. The living room is very bright and cosy. The whole apartment is tastefully decorated, respecting the centuries that this building dates from. The kitchen offers all the amenities one can ask to prepare food, whereas the bathroom has a washing machine and drier for any emergencies. Definitely this is a true gem!

  Disliked: You have to be fit enough to climb the steep stairs, but, I guess, this is part of the charm of staying in a house dating more than 2.5 centuries ago....

  A very pleasant stay in a bright, spacious room, with an excellent host and a wonderful location

  Liked: The location is absolutely wonderful. Julius was extremely thoughtful and helpful — he even assisted me with my luggage and kindly allowed me to leave my bags a little longer since I had an appointment. He was very flexible and understanding, which made all the difference. The apartment itself is beautiful, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. I arrived on sunny days and really enjoyed the brightness and atmosphere. The room is very spacious, and the bathroom has everything one might need, including a great shower and a wonderful bathtub. I had a truly comfortable and pleasant stay — highly recommended!

  Disliked: Maybe it was my mistake for not reading the description carefully enough, but I initially understood that the space included an outdoor area/terrace. Upon arrival, Julius kindly clarified that this belonged to a larger apartment upstairs, not the one I had booked.
