  Excellent and pleasant

  Liked: Breakfast was good, loved so many options of juices. The rooms were extraordinary. The hotel staff was super friendly and welcoming!

  Perfect

  Liked: Even though the Van der Valk stikes me primarily as a business hotel, its atmosphere was amazingly warm. We arrived a bit before our scheduled check-in time and the staff were so kind to store our luggage so we could grab a coffee in the hotel restaurant. In the hotel, everybody was welcoming. The rooms were spacious and the amenities were very comfortable. I liked the bed, the TV, and the shower. It's nice that the hotel doesn't 'force' you to use a minibar – the fridge is empty for you to use, but if you prefer to have the minibar stocked, they'll arrange it for you. I loved the sauna and the pool – both have a five-star feel to them. The breakfast was a 10/10. Also, it was nice to have a 24/7 free coffee and tea service on the second floor. The location isn't too bad either – of course, it's not in the city centre, but getting there is a 15-minute bus ride. Conveniently, the bus stop is located just outside the hotel.

  Disliked: The bathroom in our room didn't offer a lot of privacy – there's no door between the bathroom area and the rest of the room. Be sure you're comfortable with your travel partner. Most of the locker rooms in the pool area didn't work – not a huge problem, but still something that would be nice to have.

  Wonderful stay, will definitely be back here again

  Liked: The size of the room was wonderful and everything very clean. The gym was quite impressive for a hotel and they have a calisthenic section outside as well:)!
