  Good location but disappointing

  Liked: I liked the location, the staff were so lovely at the bar and reception.

  Disliked: The breakfast buffet closed earlier and the lady took away food officially closed so wasnt happy to find nothing available when we paid for breakfast. The rooms are very outdated, especially for the price. The light at the side of the bed didnt work and the bathroom light by the toilet didnt work.

  Great value for money

  Liked: The location is great, it was close to the central station, and easy to find. The room was very comfortable and big. Also all the staff was friendly and nice. I very much enjoyed it.

  Excellent location - convenient and quiet!

  Liked: It was a nice surprise! The location is very near to the train station and two supermarkets. There is a reception is professional. We asked for an early check-in and our room was ready when we arrived. We did not need to pay for early check-in. I asked for extra pillows and received them almost immediately. There is free Wifi and the breakfast is standard hotel buffet. In addition, there is coffee machine and a kettle. It is also quite quiet in the evening.

  Disliked: A fridge and a electric safety deposit box will really add the value of the room.

  Great location, but everything else is bad

  Liked: Tbh, the only good thing I can say about the hotel is it's location, because it is really convenient, but the rest was a bit of a letdown.

  Disliked: The standard rooms are small, like really small. If I were to open my suitcase, I literally wouldn't be able to leave the room because it would block the door and the exit hallway. Despite being a 4-star hotel, it is extremely stripped down of even basic amenities, such as coffee machine in the rooms or even bathrobes. And what really pissed me off was trying to enter the hotel after 23 PM. For some very ridiculous reason, they lock the front door outside. What happened to me is that, i had to press some hidden button outside, wait for 5-7 minutes in an absolute blizzard of a storm until someone picks up, then you have to tell room number and last name so that someone can finally open the door. Like guys, cmon. This is absurd for a property part of Accor, like they literally have no one at reception at night, I think the only person is someone hidden in the back office somewhere. It really leaves a very poor hospitality feeling. And also, a quick question, what happens if you don't remember your room number and you only have your key with you without the holder? You have to sleep outside? There are better properties in the city and if you aren't really that much insistent on the location, just go to the Hilton that 15-20 minutes away and you would have a better service.

Good to know

Guests using GPS should use Morssingelterrein Leiden as destination. Parking is available here. Parking at the Morssingelterrein can be paid for via debit card, no contact debit card, Maestro, and V pay.

Guests can also park at Morspoort garage, 656 feet from the accommodations. Parking there can be paid for with cash, debit card, and credit card.

Please note that guests are required to show the credit card which has been used to make the booking, upon arrival. If this is not possible, guests should have an authorization form, signed by the credit card holder if he/she is not traveling along.

Please note that pets will incur an additional charge of EUR 25 per day, per pet.

A deposit may be required at the property.
