  Lots of noise, bad beds, short night of sleep

  Liked: The rooms were spacious, with a large bathroom that included both a bath and a separate shower. Free parking was available, which was very convenient. Access to the property was easy thanks to the lockbox system, allowing us to come and go without any hassle. The room also included a kettle with a selection of tea bags and coffee, which was a nice touch

  Disliked: Unfortunately, our sleep quality was very poor throughout our stay. There was a large party next door that continued until around 1:00 AM, ending with a loud fireworks display. The rooms also offer very little sound insulation, and we could clearly hear guests in neighboring rooms. The beds were extremely worn out, and the mattresses seemed long overdue for replacement. Cleanliness could also be improved, as there were spider webs visible in several corners of the room. The room contained an empty mini-fridge that repeatedly switched on and off during the night, creating enough noise to wake us up. To make matters worse, housekeeping started cleaning the surrounding rooms with vacuum cleaners at around 8:30 AM on Sunday morning. Overall, despite some positive aspects of the property, we did not get a good night's sleep and found the accommodation disappointing in terms of comfort and noise levels.

  Liked: Even though this is a self-check-in hotel with no on-site staff, communication was excellent, clear, and efficient via WhatsApp and email. The location is ideal for sightseeing and visiting museums, as well as shopping in Kleve and other nearby German cities close to the border. The room was clean, spacious, and offered a great view. It was also well-equipped with a mini fridge, coffee, and tea facilities. Additionally, a bus stop located directly across the street provides convenient access to Nijmegen city center.

  Disliked: One downside was that there was no visible hotel sign from the outside. Unfortunately, the stairway leading to the rooms and the room windows were not very clean. Since the restaurant is located downstairs, noise from moving chairs could be heard quite frequently. Considering the price, we expected a more modern and better-maintained hotel overall.
