How to choose an aparthotel
Aparthotel or holiday apartment
An aparthotel combines an apartment and a hotel: a kitchen and more space, with a reception, cleaning and sometimes a pool or breakfast. A regular holiday apartment has no reception, and you arrange the key handover with the owner.
What to check before booking
Check what the kitchen has (some only have a microwave), how often it is cleaned, whether bed linen and towels are included and how late arrivals work. For long stays, see whether there is a washing machine.
