Exceptional
Modern, well equipped and spacious property
Liked: Spaceous accommodation and very well equipped. The apartment is very modern and contains everything to make one's stay really comfortable. The house is located high above the town with superb views over the valley.
Disliked: Steep climb up to the house from the town centre. Although there's parking attached to the house, the road (cul de sac) is very steep and narrow. We chose to park on the main road instead so not a big deal, really.
Liked: Wonderful location with a stunning view from the balcony. The house had everything needed for a comfortable stay for three adults. No issues with parking for experienced drivers.
Disliked: We stayed in December, and the house wasn’t preheated before our arrival. The only heating available was a weak air conditioner. We had to walk around the house in winter jackets all day and sleep fully dressed. The temperature only reached 20 degrees after an entire day. It’s unclear why such a wonderfully modern renovation didn’t include underfloor water heating.
Exceptional
Liked: Very comfortable apartment. Balcony overlooks the river and old town.

Liked: We had a great time at the apartment, thanks to Miguel who gave us a great welcome, local recommendations, plus some local wine! Great views from the balcony and an easy walk into Amarante. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed.
