Exceptional
Well designed Micro apartment
Liked: Hostess thought of everything, including an orange/ lemon squeezer and iron. The extra touch of water and wine in fridge was exceptional. We also liked having a larger shower.
Disliked: The kitchen was efficient, but cupboards overhead were a little to low for us, as we are both 6' tall making us have to bend over to uses sink & stove

Liked: Compact, clean, had everything you could possibly need, quiet, great location, excellent host. Car park free near by or park on the street. Easy check in.

A solo travelers perfect den
Liked: Excellent for solo travelers! Within walking distance from the town and the attractions, but still quiet enough for rest, retreat and privacy. I loved having my own place for a few days and having my own pace and routine and not being bound to a designated breakfast time, everything you need is in this very well-designed apartment: kitchenette with fridge, appliances, even dishwasher, the apartment has its own terrace with incredibly comfortable sun chairs, so you can come and go as you please. There are fold-out tables for working. I will most definitely be back!
perfect apartment, perfect location
Liked: Beautiful apartment in a peaceful area of Amarante. Room had everything we'd need and even some special treats which really made the stay so wonderful. Amazing host, great location, super clean. Would stay again it was perfect, with lots of local restaurants, cafe, free parking and sites in walking distance.

Liked: Lucinda! We never met in person, but she took very good care of us. Just before we arrived, she upgraded our stay to a larger apartment, too kind. On the table were handwritten notes, local-bakery bread, cookies, and lemons which came in very handy with the food we brought. When we opened the refrigerator door, there was a delicious bottle of local vinho verde chilled and waiting for us to cool off. Casa da Torre wins the prize for the most welcoming atmosphere and those little details that show thoughtful care: tea, olive oil, spices, bottle opener, fully stocked cookware and utensils, bedside USB outlets!fluffy towels and something that should be very obvious but very few hosts get: A towel hook within reach of the shower.. Bravo Lu! The street kitties and the sweet almost 100 year old neighbor up the street made the true authentic native experience. That's why we Love Portugal and Amarante and Casa da Torre. Valeu demaiiisss!
