Excellent location and lovely home to stay in if you are exploring this region

Liked: This is a beautiful property on a hillside in a very picturesque part of the region. Very close to the main highway (although tricky to find - make sure to get directions from the host). You have the entire house more or less to yourself with a beautiful kitchen to cook in if you want. The nearby town Arcos de Valdevez is small but very pretty and has some good restaurants (check out O Pote for local cuisine). The host (who only speaks French and Portuguese) was very helpful and even did some laundry for me and left some of their fresh figs to eat! Very quiet and peaceful location but handy for day trips to the park.

Disliked: No problems at all. But you will need to have a car and some driving skills!
