  Marvellous short holiday!

  Liked: Located in a quiet small farm with lovely views over the vineyards to the mountains in the distance. Close to the charming town of Arcos de Valdevez for all necessary shopping, it is also a convenient location to explore Peneda-Gerês and Alto Minho. The heated outdoor pool is in a very nice setting. Very useful fully equipped kitchen and a separate laundry room with both a washing machine and a tumble dryer

  Disliked: There is only one aspect that makes it less than 100% comfortable - the bedroom is upstairs.

  BE CAREFUL! DO NOT USE THE LOUNGE CHAIRS

  Liked: Our stay at Quinta das Secas was lovely overall. The location and property were gorgeous and the hosts were kind. The daily breakfast was perfect for our group of 8. Though the house was small and pretty dated, we spent our time outside and liked being able to walk into Arcos.

  Disliked: A tragic incident occurred during our stay. A friend was sitting in one of the lounge chairs when it suddenly collapsed beneath here. This resulted in a trip to the emergency room, an ambulance ride to a distant hospital, and emergency surgery. This was the third time one of these lounge chairs suddenly collapsed while someone from our group was reclining. The lounge chairs are a major safety hazard. They are old and broken. I have repeatedly tried to notify the hosts about this incident, asking them to please remove the chairs to prevent future accidents and ensure guest safety. They have been completely unresponsive to any messages, which is extremely disappointing.

  Beautiful Quinta on a vineyard, perfect for families, we would defiantly stay here again!

  Liked: beautiful location on the vineyard, very peaceful but quick access back into town/motorway. The Quinta had everything we needed, the beds were really comfortable and the place was very clean and half way through the week we had a clean and change of bedding. when we arrived the fridge had essential items and The owner brings breakfast each morning which was fresh bread and pastries. we would definitely stay here, the pool is lovely but we didn’t have the weather but if the sun was shining it would have been perfect to relax and enjoy swimming with the children.

  Disliked: I thought we were closer walking distance to the town but with young children and bad weather we had to drive. It is about a 15 minute walk.
