  Friendly, fun and fabulous, plus comfortable and generous 🫶

  Liked: Very comfortable with all the facilities to have an enjoyable stay.

  Disliked: There were a few very minor things to be checked for the next guests but nothing which spoiled our stay.. the road was very steep as was the driveway, but all manageable with practice!

  loved, would go again in a minute

  Liked: The location was amazing, the house has wonderful views from every angle. its a two story so very spacious... It was perfect. Location is easy to get to the beach by car just 5 minutes, there is a walking trail but we didnt take its since we were traveling with old parents.. the driveway is steep but once we got used to it. its doable. we cooked in a few nights and just enjoyed the pool, the hot tub. and the views. their is AC units downstairs kitchen which cools off the whole downstairs upstairs two bedrooms have AC.. but two dont, it really wasnt needed at night, it cools off. so it didnt make much difference to us. we were there beginning of july. id stay again.. great location.. great house.

  Disliked: Nothing, it was perfect. if i had to pick one thing id simply say the driveway is very narrow and steep, but again we had a big 7 passenger car and once we got used to it, it was fine.

  Nice stay in Madeira in a good base to see the island and walk the levadas

  Liked: Nice and spacious with a lovely view of the ocean. Hot tub is included and we enjoyed using that.

  Disliked: It’s a tough 30min walk uphill to get back from Calheta. Hot tub took 3 days to get to a usable temperature although the cold weather didn’t help!

  Superb

  Liked: Beautiful house with a magnificent view! Very clean and nicely kept. Very helpful and friendly host!

  Disliked: The kitchen equipment was a little poor (e.g. 3 frying pans, two of which were frankly unusable) and the stove worked so and so. But we managed to feed ourselves just fine! One air conditioner dropped water on the floor upstairs.

  Upscale property, pleasant stay at Casa Agrela

  Liked: The house was spacious, clean well decorated with a wonderful view. The furniture was in good condition. Garry was responsive and helpful. Upon arrival we received a lovely welcome basket that included wine, Madeira bread, cookies, crackers cheese and ham. Calheta was a sweet town. We ate delicious tuna at Lemme. Our server said it was freshly caught that day. We also ate at the pizzeria/gelato place. The thin crust pie was nicely made. Nice sunsets!

  Disliked: The driveway was tricky to navigate.
