  A beautiful place to stay; just make sure you have transport!

  Liked: Everything you could possibly need or want was available at the property. It was very comfortable staying there; the best place we stayed at in Madeira. Check in was easy. The view from the terrace is stunning

  Disliked: Granted, the location in the hills is made clear in the listing, but in practice it is quite far removed from Calheta. A car or other transport is an absolute necessity. I had thought we would meet the owners and be able to ask questions about activities in the area, but this wasn’t the case unfortunately, but they were responsive on text and had left a lot of information in the apartment, in fairness.

  Perfect and convenient retreat close to sunny Calheta!

  Liked: This property was only about a 5 minute drive from the Calheta marina/beach area. And very close to some main routes-making it very convenient. Yet it was in a very quiet location. We loved the entire apartment set-up. It was beautifully decorated in a Boho style and had everything we needed to make our stay more enjoyable and convenient. The view on the back patio and upper patio were perfect to enjoy a meal or snack at. We would definitely stay here again if we get to return to beautiful Madeira.
