  Beautiful apartment with patio and ocean view

  Liked: Perfect stay for a couple of days at Madera. Apartment was equipped with everything that is necessary. The view at the ocean from windows and balcony is a significant plus. Also the patio is a nice addition to the apartment.

  Disliked: The apartment was great, but the city Arco da Calheta has no sidewalks. So it was difficult to walk around. The only way was to walk the road for cars, hoping not to be overrun by anyone. Another option is to drive a care everywhere, even to the nearest shop.

  Liked: Very nice location, clean and with great view from the balcony. The covered terrace is also convenient. Parking place is a huge advantage

  All was good 👍🏻

  Liked: Everything was perfect: clean, well-equipped kitchen, fantastic view from the balcony. Good communication with the host. A 5-minute drive to the grocery store, and a few bars within a 10-minute walk. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you've come to the right place (although you can sometimes hear the traffic outside).

  Disliked: In my opinion, there are two things that could be improved: A) The lighting inside the house... dark, yellow light, impossible to see anything. Only the toilet and kitchen have bright lights. B) At least a small can of tea and coffee on arrival/first day would be nice.

  Liked: Terrific seaside view, a lot of space (we were there as a family of 2+3), a big balcony and a spacious patio. We really felt comfortable and did not miss anything that's required for a weekly stay. Definitely recommended!

  Disliked: The house is located on an uphill road with no sidewalk, so getting anywhere on foot with the kids - even to the nearest shop or bar - is a bit of a gamble (considering cars passing by quite fast).
