  Very good

  Liked: A lot of apartment for your money, the washing machine was a fantastic addition, location was great for us to get everywhere we wanted on the south of the island. The owners were always available and very happy to give information. Bar upstairs is well priced and has good coffee

  Marvellous

  Liked: I truly enjoyed my holiday in Madeira, especially staying at Casa Mao-Cheia. The apartment was truly clean and spacious, well-equipped, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. A huge thank you to Juline, the owner of the apartment, was simply fantastic. She kept me updated on the weather and how my stay was going. Highly recommended!

  Well equipt place with good host, but need to get rid of cockroaches

  Liked: Lovely host, very good communication, the place has all that is needed in terms of appliance, ample space.

  Disliked: The place had big cockroaches, we killed 4, we were shocked. There is also a bar upstairs, so after 6am you can hear some noise, bot horrible, but noticable

  Excellent experience

  Liked: Juline and Lurdes were excellent guests, their empanadas were delicious and we had a really good time exploring Madeira from their apartment. Would definitely recommend. If we ever come back to the island, we would love to come back to their accomodation.

  Exceptional

  Liked: Very clean modern flat with modern facilities. Good bbq and washing machine. Great views. Very friendly host who was very helpful and informative. Below lovely little bar with excellent coffee and snacks.

  Liked: Very big room, plenty of space. Great view on the landscape below (you are 500m high on sea level). Beautiful big french doors which let in a lot of light in the living room and in the main bedroom. Kitchen is well equipped so you can easily prepare lunch or dinner. Bonus: the bar above is run by flat owners and it is very good and cheap, good for early breakfast (try empanadas and pastel de nata, they are huge!)

  Disliked: In the second bedroom there were a bit of mustiness and staleness. The bathroom has no windows. Kitchen furniture is a bit old, but still well operating.
