  Liked: We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Vista Mar by GALMI. Communication with Afonso at GALMI was excellent, even though we didn’t need him during the stay, he was always available if we did. The property is perfect, with a lovely view of the sea and the surrounding area. The house is well equipped and had everything we needed. There was a good selection of kitchen utensils, so cooking at home was no problem. The only small improvement would be to add larger glasses, there were no wine glasses and only small water glasses, so a few proper wine and beer glasses would be great. The layout of the property works really well, and the outdoor area is a brilliant place to relax and enjoy the sun, whether you’re having a drink or eating at the table outside. There are also a few great restaurants within walking distance. You can walk to the beach/marina too, it’s easy going down, but definitely a bit steep coming back up (we only did it once!). Overall, the house felt very comfortable, like a home from home, and we would happily return again.

  Beautiful house, beautiful terrace, beautiful view of the ocean

  Liked: Large terrace with a large canopy, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable kitchen next to the terrace, view of the ocean, sandy beach 3 minutes by car/20 minutes by foot, comfortable beds. Lavadas 10 min. by car.

  Disliked: There were two small things that the owners promised to fix, so we won't mention them. We lived in this way for 1.5 months, they offered us one cleaning for a fee, which maybe could have been done for free.

  Liked: Nice villa with all the necessary equipment for a lazy vacation. The host was proactive and showed us the road to the apartment (otherwise it would be really challenging if you don't know the place)

  Disliked: Everything was nice with an exception of the location itself - it was quite a challenge to find the right way for getting there even after several days. And the travel to the apartment might be challenging for a person who has used to flat surfaces:)

  Liked: The house was equipped with everything we needed for our stay and more. Nicely surprising were the basic spices, the variety of pots and pans in the kitchen, laundry room, and even items for the bbq in the yard, which we didn't have the time to use. The location was perfect, just 5 min by car from the beautiful Calheta beach. Beautiful view of the ocean and the neighbouring houses.

  Disliked: We were very satisfied with our stay.
