  The apartment is much smaller than it appears in the photos. The first and second floors are rented separately. Please n

  Liked: From a logistical point of view, the apartments are very conveniently located

  Disliked: The apartment description states that it's 50 square meters. In fact, we were on the second floor, and even taking into account the veranda, I'd say it's no more than 30 square meters. Our apartment didn't have a bedroom. The air conditioner was leaking. Parking is only available in a small alley, and only if you can negotiate with the ground floor residents.

  Fantastic location and very homely apartment

  Liked: Cute and comfortable flat in a perfect location just by the beach and with stunning views over the ocean! Close to shops and many lovely restaurants around. Very warm and welcoming host, very supportive throughout! Massive thank you to!

  Gorgeous location but don't believe the parking ad

  Liked: Amazing location right by the beach in calheta. Good aircon and a comfy bed.

  Disliked: The apartment was advertised as having parking dedicated. This turned out to be just an unused sideroad with no dedicated signs that was incredibly narrow and difficult to park in, coming off a narrow downhill turn. One car was possible, but our upstairs neighbour with a large car was always there and parked at the very front so we weren't happy to risk out rental car to make the space. Often other cars from the beach also used the space. Poorly advertised. I suspect madeirans might be able to park it but if you're not it is an awful space to access. We ended up paying for parking (complicated) or using uphill free spaces. The owner will also send you 8000 unnecessary texts. Also no sofa.

  A beautiful apartment in an excellent location, highly recommended

  Liked: Beautiful apartment. Stylish decor. Well equipped. Located on the beach. Car parking space. Access to lots of great restaurants. The outdoor space was superb. Spotlessly clean. Esmeralda is a great host. We loved everything.
