Liked: A quiet and cozy place which feels like home, to rest after exploring western part of the island with a gorgeous view! The host is very welcoming and hospitable. After getting my passport details she realized it was my birthday during my stay, and in addition to tasty welcome treats, she gifted me a very tasty birthday cake, which was a very pleasant surprise!)

  Amazing

Liked: I don’t have anything bad to say. It was very clean and very well equipped. You have a lot of space and the location is also great. Even tho the property doesn’t have its own parking space, there’s always a spot to park your car. The host was amazing, she left us a bottle of wine and a cake which was really sweet of her. And the thing that will stick with us for a long time is the balcony view, especially at sunset. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful place with a very kind owner

Liked: Staying at Teixeira House was a great experience. The owner is very nice. We received a cake on the first day, and during the second week we got another one! The kitchen was very well equipped. I was also pleasantly surprised by the box with bathroom essentials — such a great and helpful idea. Thoughtful touches that made our stay truly enjoyable.

Disliked: One small thing that annoyed me was the presence of tiny worms on the floor. However, I understand that this is Madeira, and it is not the owner’s fault:)
